  Terrible landlords. Although they build nice apartments, they have no idea how to run a property or deal with tenant problems. They are completely absentee. The apartment I live in is in Columbus but their office is in Canton. The only way I can get ahold of them is through email, and they only answer during normal business hours. I can also call the main company phone and get the receptionist who always tells me Richard or Louise Altman are not available. There is no onsite person to deal with emergencies such as: leaky ceiling, electrical blowout, loud drilling noises from below, and parties from our neighbors. These people gave us a lease and expect us to follow it, but they don't help enforce the quiet enjoyment clause or anything else in the lease.
  
  If you rent from them you better pray you never have a problem or it might take weeks to even get a response or action from these guys. Oh and also don't call them absentee (when they really are), because you will get the following response: "I would like to remind you that you get more bees with honey than with vinegar. I am very responsive to you e-mails and always respond. I do not live in Columbus." They will also lie to your face and tell you they have someone on site....but then when you ask to contact them, they say everything has to go through them...but they don't give you an emergency number.
